Mary Alice Roberts was born April 24, 1929 in Colorado City, Texas to Jim and Bessie Stump. She went to be with the Lord on September 28, 2019 in Irving, Texas. Mary was preceded in death by Husband William Fred Roberts; Sister, Georgia Pace; Brothers, James and Ferris Stump and, Niece Leigh Ann Pace. She is survived by her Son, Jerry and Daughter in Law Nancy Compton/Midland, Texas; Daughter, Debra and Son in Law Alan Barron/Dallas, Texas; Sister, Paula Franks/ Gardendale, Texas; Grandsons and Granddaughters, Nathaniel Compton/ Midland, Texas; Cody and Julie Compton/Fort Worth, Texas; Barry and Claire Compton/Midland, Texas; Sister in Law, Kathy Stump; Nephews and Nieces, Alvin and Candice Stump; Jimmy and Stevi Stump; Les and Brad Pace; Rhonda Dietderich; Melinda and Alex Yarbrough; Great nieces and nephews, Ashley Pace, Amy and Chris Pace. She also leaves behind Great Grand Children Luke and Avery Compton, and Brinley Rose Compton. Mary Started her career with Texas Pacific oil Company in Midland, Texas. She loved to be busy and productive. True to her nature she retired and went back to work multiple times before she settled down and enjoyed her retirement. Mary loved the Lord, her family, and her Church family. Much of her time, she served at her Church, Valwood Baptist as a Sunday school teacher, and was part of the hospitality and cleaning committees. Though above all, she was a faithful prayer warrior, Mother and Grandmother.
