Myung Suk Oh

Myung Oh, 83, of Carrollton, TX passed away March 19, 2023. He was born in South Korea on December 10, 1939. He was married to Bok Hee for 32 years until her death in 2004. He then married Kiok in 2006.

Myung received a degree in Architectural Engineering from Hanyang University. In Korea, he worked as an executive for a construction firm. After immigrating to the United States in 1980, he worked as a school janitor. He was then an owner of multiple small businesses until retirement.

He enjoyed music, playing harmonica, baduk, fishing, and spending time with his grandchildren.

He was predeceased by his parents Sang Duck and Cha Rae, first wife Bok Hee, and his son Peter.

He was survived by his wife Kiok, brother Yoon Suk, son Allen and daughter-in-law Grace, and his grandchildren Emily and Nathan.

A memorial service will be held at 5pm, April 4, 2023, at the Korean Church of Dallas in Carrollton, TX.
