I was a young preacher 46 years ago this month when I was privileged to meet and befriend Bruce and Olene. We were very close then, though he was a bit more than 6 years older. We served the Lord together for 7.5 years and enjoyed wonderful fellowship. Though we have not kept in touch over the years, I have a warm spot in my heart for Brother Bruce, Olene, and their family. May Christ comfort and bless — till we meet again.

Bruce was a very dear friend. We shared many happy times together at Lake Texoma. Bruce was a prince of a man! I never heard him say an unkind word about anyone. He never ever complained or said “ why me” after diagnosed with Parkinson’s. He struggled for many years with the disease and we are very sad, but greatful that he is no longer in pain and is in a place more beautiful than we can imagine. RIP Bruce .. until we meet again.
