Olive Louise King

Visitation will be from 11:00am- 12:00pm followed by a Service from 12:00pm- 1:00pm, Saturday, July 1, 2017 at Rhoton Funeral Home.

A brief burial service will be at 2:30pm on Saturday, July 1, 2017 at Calvary Hill Cemetery. Arrangements are by Rhoton Funeral Home.

Olive was born in New York City, NY to Oscar George King and Myrtle Evadne Thomas King on March 14, 1950. She spent numerous years in Kingston, Jamaica studying and living with family. She moved back to New York City and worked for Mobil Oil Company. She has been living in Dallas, Texas area since 1979. She was an artisan and entrepreneur of a myriad of crafts for years. Her many hobbies included arts, designs, and jewelry creations.

Olive is preceded in death by her parents.

Olive is survived by her son Christopher Mitchell of Carrollton, her sisters Ruth Thomas of New York, and Lois Nembhard of Carrollton, her nephew Duane (Robyn) Nembhard of Austin, her niece Rhonda Nembhard of Atlanta and many family members and friends.
