Omanakutty Alexander Chandy was born in Thalakulam House, Cheeranchira, Kerala, India to the (Late) T. M. Zacharias and Sosamma Zacharias on March 29, 1961. She was the youngest of five sisters and
beloved by all of her family and friends.
Omana received her Bachelors of Science at Assumption College in Changanacherry, India, her BSN at the Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research at Chandigarh, along with her Masters in Arts.
She married Aniyan (Alexander) Chandy on January 9, 1989 at St. George Orthodox Valiyapally Kalanjoor, Kerala. Omana and Aniyan came to America in 1990.
Omana enjoyed praying, singing and reading the Bible immensely. Her smile brightened all those around her as she loved working as a registered nurse at Baylor Scott and White in Dallas, Texas. She selflessly
cared for those around her and always brought joy and life with each person she encountered.
Omana is survived by husband Aniyan, son Chris, and daughter Angela. She lived a beautiful and prosperous life walking in faith and love with our Lord God and demonstrating God's unconditional love towards all those around her.
