Phyllis Ivy Kamerad, age 63, died at home on October 22, 2013. Born February 2, 1950, in Amarillo Texas to Curtis and Pauline Ivy, she attended (high school) Pala Duro High School in Amarillo, TX and graduated in 1969.
She lived in many different places – Amarillo TX, San Antonio TX, Plano TX, before settling in The Colony TX when she retired. Phyllis will be especially remembered for her wit, spirit, and tenaciousness that allowed her to achieve many rewards for her endeavors.
Survivors include her son Eric and daughter in-law Heidi Ramsey, Two grandchildren Jonathon and Kaitlynn Ramsey. Daughter; Meghann Ramsey, brother Gene Ivy, two sisters Paula Siddle, and Euline Foster. Phyllis was preceded in death by her husband, Barry.
Memorial service will be held at on 10 a.m. Saturday October 25, 2013. At Rhoton Funeral Home in Carrollton, TX. All Relatives and friends are welcome at the service. Memorial contributions are welcome and should be sent to Rhoton Funeral Home 1511 S. I35 E. Carrollton, TX 75006.
