On February 7, 1936 Reinaldo Romero was born in Hatillo, Puerto Rico to his parents Santos and Virginia Romero. Reinaldo was the third child of eight children. While living in Puerto Rico, Reinaldo’s parents came to serve the Lord Jesus Christ.

In the year 1951, the Romero family left the Island of Puerto Rico to relocate to Brooklyn, New York. In the summer of 1951, Reinaldo met a young lady named Blanca Rosa and she became the love of his life. They were married in 1955 and have celebrated 62 years of marriage.

In 1979, Reinaldo became a fully Ordained Minister and was given by the Assemblies of God, a church of his own to serve. Reinaldo became not only a pastor of the church but also a community leader in East Harlem. He worked with the people of the community bringing the word of God and hope for a better life for those in a rough neighborhood. In 1992,Rev.
