Robert "Buddy" Ervin Waldron

March 26, 1935 – December 1, 2017

Our beloved friend, Robert (Buddy) Ervin Waldron, went to be with the Lord on December 1, 2017. He was born March 26, 1935, in Dallas, TX to James Alfred Waldron and Ethel Beatrice Brent Waldron.

Mr. Waldron grew up and attended school in West Dallas. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army and was honorably discharged February 3, 1958. After completing his military service he traveled for a few months before returning to Dallas and he went to work for Home Interiors and Gifts in 1958. He worked there over 45 years until his retirement in 2005.

Robert’s hobbies and passions included gardening, fishing, sight-seeing and being with friends. He will be remembered for his outgoing and friendly personality as he never met a stranger.

He is preceded in death by his parents and sisters. Survivors left to cherish their memories and mourn his death include numerous nieces and nephews and a host of friends.

Funeral services are scheduled for 3pm Friday, December 15, 2017, at Rhoton Funeral Home, 1511 South I35 E, Carrollton, TX 75006.
