Rose Alice Self

Rose Alice Stodola Self, 88, went home to her Lord and Savior on Monday, March 6, 2017 in Plano, Texas. A private family memorial service and burial will be held at the Dallas/Fort Worth National Cemetery at a future date. Arrangements are by Rhoton Funeral Home.

Rose was born in Hattiesburg, Mississippi to Joel and Amelia Schultz on September 14, 1928. She worked as a Real Estate agent in El Paso, TX and Dallas, TX for over 30 years. She was a member of Crosspoint Church in El Paso, TX.

Rose is preceded in death by her first husband Roland William Stodola, son Dwight Stodola (Linda) of Lawton, OK, brother Ervin Henderson of Albuquerque, NM, and sister Mary Henderson Powell of Truth or Consequences, NM.

She is survived by:

Husband Frank Self of El Paso, TX, sister Jacqueline Duckworth of Las Vegas, NV, son Roland Stodola (Peggy) of Carrollton, TX, son Gary Stodola (Cecelia) of Carrollton, TX, daughter Jacqueline Pisanich (John) of Carrollton, TX, son Timothy Stodola (Denise) of Pilot Point, TX.

Grandchildren Mark Stodola, Jennifer Carrera, Melissa Beck, James Pisanich, Kathrene Gano, Christine Brecheen, David Pisanich, Samantha Stodola, Nathan Stodola.

Great Grandchildren Anna, Mitchell, Kyle & John Stodola; Patrick, Brandon & Megan Carrera; Waldon & Luna Beck; Alexis & Emily Pisanich; Logan Gano; Landon, Drew & William Brecheen.

Rose is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
