Rudolph E. (Pete) Peters joined his wife Claudia in heaven on May 26th. He was married to her for almost 50 years. Pete was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend. He served our country in the U.S. Marine Corps for many years. He was wounded (receiving a Purple Heart) as he fought the Chinese in the Korean War. Claudia encouraged him to retire (after his 20 years of service) at the height of the Vietnam War. Pete was a man of God and was a faithful member of The Shepherd’s House in Lewisville. He was 90 years old. He is survived by his oldest son Larry Peters from Yorba Linda, California and his family. He is also survived by Larry McKamy of Granbury, Texas and his family; and Brian McKamy of Caddo Mills, Texas and his family.
