Sandy Pharo Passed away on April 3, 2018 Irving, Tx and was born August 4, 1938 in Sylacauga, AL. We were blessed to learn many valuable lessons from Sandy during her 79 years, among them: Life is better in purple. She had a loving childhood as the only child of Jake and Alma Sarratt. She graduated in 1956 from NR Crozier Tech High school. She worked for many years as the secretary to Mary Crowley, founder of Home Interiors and Gifts. Her first marriage produced her greatest pride, her sons Darrell and Stanley. Her joy and love for the past 34 years is her loving husband, John Pharo. Sandy is survived by her husband, her sons, daughters-in-law, four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren along with a host of extended family and friends. The family will receive visitors Monday, April 9th from 6 to 8 PM at Rhoton Funeral Home in Carrollton, TX. Sandra will be laid to rest during a private burial with her family on Tuesday. My heart was very heavy when I heard of Sandy's passing. I know your love for one another was true. I remember all the times we shared together while working on the GTE account. So many good times. I am praying for you as you go on without her by your side. May God's comfort encompass you and give you peace in the days to come. Love and miss you here at Sprint.

Your Friend Always,

Dearest Stan,
I am so very sorry to hear of your mom's passing. Although I never had the pleasure of meeting Sandy, I am certain that she was an amazing woman. She had to be, she raised you! I have your family in my heart and in my prayers. Hold on to your memories and keep them close.

John and Darrell and Stan,
I join you in your grief. I will miss Sandy, too.
When I met Sandy in about 1982, I thought her to be the most beautiful woman I had ever seen. I came to know she had a tremendous, generous love for her family and friends.
Grandchildren, Travis, Rebekah, Michael, Matthew, and great-grands, Rylie and Rusty, carry your Meemaw's DNA proudly.
