September 5, 2018

Sandy was my first date - crazy about her in high school but only discovered what was possible after I graduated boot camp and saw her in school. I was in uniform about to leave Skyline and then I heard a "Michael!!" all the way down the hall and Sandy running pell mell and everyone eyeballing her. When I saw who it was, I cast all dignity aside and ran like one of those Kodak moments and scooped her up in my arms. I had only thought that leaving Boot Camp behind was the happiest moment in my life... until then.
