

Vince was born in the Quảng Trị province of Vietnam on April 10, 1961, to Mr. Cam Van Trần and Mrs. Yến Bạch Trần. A man of academic discipline and ambition, he graduated from Judson High School in San Antonio, Texas and then went on to earn a degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin.
Following his graduation, Vince established a distinguished career as a Network Engineer, contributing his talents to various companies throughout his professional life. He traveled frequently to various locations throughout the country for work.
For 35 years, Vince was the beloved and devoted husband of Mỹ Trần, with whom he raised his two sons, Eric Trần and Ryan Trần.
Beyond his professional life, he found great joy in watching sports, bicycling, caring for his son’s dogs, and keeping his cars clean and dining out on the weekends. His greatest fulfillment came from his role as grandfather to Eileen and Bryson, his ultimate pride and joy.
Vince is preceded in death by his father, Mr. Cam Van Trần, and his parents-in-law, Mr. Mẹo Nguyễn and Mrs. Lý Thị Hoàng.
His memory will be cherished and kept alive by his wife, Mỹ Trần; his children, Eric Trần and Ryan Trần, and their spouses, Jennifer Trần and Jenny Trần; and his two grandchildren, Eileen Trần and Bryson Trần. He is further survived by his mother, Mrs. Yến Bạch Trần; his brothers, sisters, and their spouses; his entire family in-law, and a vast family of nieces, nephews, and friends who will miss him dearly.
Visitation will be held at Rhoton Funeral Home, 1511 South Interstate 35e, Carrollton, TX 75006, US, on May 15, 2026, from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm.
A Funeral Mass will be held at Sacred Heart of Jesus Christ Vietnamese Parish (Giáo Xứ Thánh Tâm), 2121 N Denton Dr, Carrollton, TX 75006, US, on May 16, 2026, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am.
A Committal Service will be held at Calvary Hill Funeral Home & Cemetery, 3235 Lombardy Ln, Dallas, TX 75220, US, on May 16, 2026, from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm.
