Wallace James Worley, Jr. (Jim) went to be with the Lord on December 16, 2020. He was born on May 26, 1943 in San Antonio, TX to Wallace J. and Marjory (Thiele) Worley, Sr.
He received his bachelor’s degree in Ministry from Dallas Christian College in Farmers Branch in 1967. He worked for the United States Post Office in Farmers Branch for 38 years and retired in 2006.
On June 10, 1967, he married Judith Ann Goins (Judy). They raised a daughter, Tammy, and two sons, David and Daniel.
He was an avid Cowboy’s fan and enjoyed John Wayne movies. He used to be on a bowling league where he won many awards. He was known for his quick wit, his infectious smile, and his kind and compassionate spirit.
Jim was preceded in death by his father, Wallace, and his mother, Marjory.
He is survived by his wife Judy, his three children, Tammy S. Ramirez (husband Frank), David J. Worley (wife Janet), and Daniel W. Worley; his sister Cleora Harris; brother William (wife Rosie), and brother Mark (wife Caroline); his four grandchildren, Alex Marvin, Kelsey Marvin, Zane Worley and Wyatt Worley; his sister-in-law, Louise Kuykendall; brother-in-law Tommy Goins and numerous nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 22nd, 2020 at the Rhoton Funeral Home in Carrollton on Crosby Street at 2 o’clock p.m and viewing will start at noon. Flowers may be sent to 1511 S. I35E, Carrollton, TX.
