

William S. Davis was born in Albany, Texas on August 23, 1920 to Warren J. and Sally Davis. He graduated from Albany High School in 1938 and attended North Texas University briefly before being called into military service. Bill served in the Pacific Theater from 1940 until 1945 and was honorably discharged from the United States Army as a Second Lieutenant.
After the war, he obtained a B.S. Degree in Math and Physics for North Texas University and an Aeronautical Engineering degree from the University of Texas, Austin. Bill began his engineering career in 1952 with the Chance Vought Corp.
Bill married Eloise Andrews in 1967 and in addition to her, he is survived by his daughter, Mary and three grandchildren, Harrison, Madeleine and Sam and by many other loving relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Monday, June 27th in the Chapel of Rhoton Funeral Home with Pastor David Sutton officiating. Burial with full military honors will be in Hilltop Memorial Park in Carrollton.
