Xuong Chau was born in Canton, China. He met and married Muoi Tang in Vietnam. With six children's futures to think about, he came to the United States first to pave the way for his family to come. He was friendly and outgoing, striking up conversations with strangers at the grocery stores. He worked hard and diligently at an envelope company in Carrollton until his retirement.
He is survived by five children: Dieu Chau, Du Chau, Cam (Hanh) Chau, Nhan (Sam) Wong, and Thuy (Matthew) Yeh. He is survived by seven grandchildren: Andy Do, Lily Do, Sophia Wong, Amelia Yeh, Nicholas Wong, Adeline Yeh, and Ally Yeh.
A visitation for Xuong Ton will be held Friday, February 24, 2023 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Rhoton Funeral Home, 1511 South Interstate 35E, Carrollton, TX 75006. A funeral service will occur Saturday, February 25, 2023 from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM, 1511 South Interstate 35E, Carrollton, TX 75006. A committal service will occur Saturday, February 25, 2023 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at Hilltop Memorial Park, 1810 N Perry Rd, Carrollton, TX 75006.
