I will miss Brenna. I would sometimes spend time at our break chatting with her (for very selfish reasons). I always came away INSPIRED by her strength, her caring and her intelligence. Her short presence in our lives here at MHS was a beautiful gift. Rest in Peace, Brenna.

Mrs. Bourez, It seemed just like yesterday that you and I had finally got the chance to really get to know one another. It was my pleasure of knowing what a wonderful and generous person you were. I wish I could of had the opportunity of knowing you longer. You will be missed and very much thought of. From what I know from the students. You were a great teacher. May you rest in peace and may the Lord enjoy having a beautiful person as you are. Mr. Schoelen, My prayers go out to you and the family. So sorry for your loss. GOD BLESS and RIP Mrs. Bourez Schoelen.

To Brenna's family, I would like to say that Brenna was the most positive person I had come to know. She had a beautiful personality and smiled all the time. She was a very beautiful young lady. I had the opportunity to know Brenna at CSUF when she was a student here. She would stop by the office to say hello now and then. I will miss her. God Bless all of you.

Mrs. B was an inspiration to all MHS staff and students. She motivated students to become a part of FFA such as me for my 1st time in AG. She was always putting a smile on my face knowing how stressed I was from school to my personal life. She was a strong person who was in pain yet still made it to work to teach. I remember she would always tell us funny yet cute stories about her family. She always had to have a soda every single day or else she wouldnt be to happy at school. We had so many memories we cherished on our FFA trips. Her nickname for me was 'baby back' ohh how i can never forget that moment from meats judging practice :) My prayers go out to Jason and her famly. May god bless them. You are always in my heart Mrs. B <3

Working at MHS with Brenna was an honor. Not many people have her courage. I will never forget how much fun we had "fixing" the copy machines together. Her example will live on throughout many lives. My thoughts and prayers go to her family.

Brenna was an inspiration to her students and those of us who worked with her. Though she battled a tough illness, she always was very positive, caring, and a true professional. She had the utmost respect and admiration of her students and staff. What a blessing for MHS.

Our prayers go out to Jason and her family.

Brenna was a rising star at MHS. She was a bright new face to our school family. What a brave, strong and tough young women she was. I used to visit with her at break as she walked by my room daily. I admire her tenacity as she struggled with her illness and still found the fortitude to move on and teach her students. As a first year teacher, that is a lot. She will be missed. Brenna was an inspiration to all.

Knowing Brenna at MHS has been a short, but joyful honor. I have, truly, never seen such a grace-filled or positive person--she was always smiling or laughing. She never gave up; she loved life; and we all loved her.

Prayers to Brenna's family.
