Claire Ann (Nau) Musty

If you knew Claire, you would remember her generosity and kindness. Also, you would recognize her stubborn streak, which just kept getting stronger as her immediate family (Richard & Deanna) departed her world.

Claire was born February 5, 1947 in San Mateo County, California. The family moved a few times before settling in the Jamestown, New York area. Claire graduated from Jamestown High School and soon after married Richard Musty. They then joined the Navy life and ended up back in Long Beach, CA for Richard's discharge and settled in that area. Their daughter Deanna was born in California and grew up there until the whole family moved to Silver Springs, Nevada during Deanna’s middle school years.

Claire, Richard and Deanna loved traveling in their Class A motorhome between California, Laughlin, NV and Bullhead City, AZ, where Claire’s parents moved when leaving New York.

Claire was preceded in death by her much-loved husband Richard in 2012 and Deanna in 2022, her sister Judy Dunn in 2014, and parents Jim and Muriel. Claire is survived by brothers, Vance (Skeet), Charles (Tony) and Robert (Bob) Nau.
