We love you so much until we meet again.

I met Erik thru Brian and Tianna before they were married. He became family very quickly; to my husband Louie, son Dominik, daughter's Gabrielle and Alyssa. We always enjoyed his vibe, kindness, and love. He could mesmerize you when he played his guitar. I loved when the guys(Brian, Marco & Erik) got together to jam out, it was always a blast. 
Good times...RIP Brotha!! Keep on rockin in heaven. 
Our deepest sympathy to his family and friends. May our Lord guide you and give ya'll the strength to continue to try to live without this beautiful soul.

There are no words to describe how this feels. We never got to say goodbye and I can't even remember the last thing I said to you. You were in my life since the day I was born. You were there for every birthday, to sing happy birthday and have a piece of cake. When I was beginning to love baking and cooking you were always there to have the first taste and tell me how yummy it was. You were my first critic and I loved making you happy with my food. You and Dad are the reasons I love the music that I do. Growing up all I wanted was to be cool in your eyes and we all missed you so much when you moved out. You are the best big brother and everytime I get an angel number, I know it's you. You've been picking the songs on my shuffle...thank you. I love you Erik, I will miss you forever. 

My mijito, my nephew who I love so much. We would always stay in touch and get together every time he came to visit.  Our last conversation was on his birthday in August, we promised we were going to celebrate his birthday when he came back down. I was looking forward to that day but God had other plans. I miss and love you so much! You will live on in our hearts until we meet again mijito chulo!!! ❤️💔🥲❤️🥲

Our mothers known each other since we were kids, Sarah use to teach at a gym that my mom went to , then when I was old enough, I started to go with her. When I was playing racket ball, I heard a voice above me and was Erik saying hello. Ever since we were in each other’s lives. To high school, watching him play his guitar, then our young adult hood , we would go to parties, I would go to his practices, I was his #1 fan. And even sometime I lived with him and his wonderful  family (Victor and Monica)for a few years while I was in college . Then our lives went separate paths, and did not talk to Erik for years. About 10 years ago , Erik found me in messager, It was like we have not stop talking, I told him I got married to a wonderful man and have 6 kids and he was just so happy for me, he would give me encouragement, when things got tough. Then He told me he moved away and lives with Brian and Tianna and starting a new life. He would say they were his guardian angels and Helped him with his darkest moments. He manage to pick himself up , got a job, car , and even his own place. We call each other , to motivate, giving guidance. One of his proudest moments is when recently he bought his guitar. He loved it so much. Erik was a really good friend and I loved him dearly. 

My Dearest Familia, 
Victor and family, we share this fond memory of Erik playing his guitar. It was a moment that I was so proud to see them youngsters (young men) of our talented Familia musicians. There will always be music in our lives, and will continue with us to eternality~ it will always keep us connected and remind us of all the memories we keep. 🎸

One of my recent and favorite memories of my cousin Erik, was when he came back to Escondido to visit the family about a year ago.  We were able to jam out on the guitars together and sang some fun songs.  We told so many funny stories of our childhood and growing up.  We visited one of our favorite breweries in town,  a little place called Stone Brewery in good ol Escondido.  There our other cousin Martita Flores and my Mom Lorie Garza met me and Erik and we had beers and laughed over some really fun stories from our youth.  I remember Erik bought a face mask that was extremely tight on his face and he was like oh yeah I think this might be good, what do you think should I return it?  I told him it will stretch out over time lol.  We took some photos together before the night ended.  I did not realize in that moment that it would be our last photo ever taken with my primo Erik.  There are other countless memories I have had with Erik.  One of the best, was always when he would hear a song briefly and then suddenly grab his guitar and start playing the exact song he had just been listening too with no mess ups.  His talent always amazed me.  I pray you are up there with the rock gods and angels just jamming out every single day.  I miss you primo and will never forget you.  Until we see each other again in the halls of Valhalla.

Erik was my best friend for over 15 years. He immediately became my safe place from day 1. He introduced me to my husband and we live a beautiful life now . But hes always been apart of our beauty . He was the most beautiful soul I've ever known . He was the love of my life . He always will be . 

Erik was a great friend. He would always bring his guitar.  When we would have a get together with friends drinking beer and just soailizing

Sweet Sara and Family, we didn't know Erik personally and yet we knew how much his mama loved him and how proud of him she was. He added much JOY to her life. In times like these there aren't words to express how our hearts ache for the family. We are holding you all up in prayer and asking God to wrap His arms around you and bring you comfort. Hold onto your memories they will help you thru the tough times and know that when it hurts so much it is because you were loved that much by him!! Hugs Dinah and Clayton Olds

I met Erik in 2012 and worked with him until 2015. It didn't take long to see that Erik was an honest, intelligent and hardworking individual. I was very proud to see him rise through the ranks and become a manager. A well deserved promotion. It deeply saddens me to learn of this loss. I can honestly say I only have good memories of Erik and consider myself fortunate to have been able to call him a friend. Erik Mora was a good man and will not be forgotten. I hope these words help bring some comfort to his family in these difficult times.
