Janette Hunt

Jan was preceded in death by Tim A. Hunt, her loving husband of 57 years. She is survived by their children Shelly, Kim and Tim II, grandchildren Kyle, Matthew, Jillian, Owen, and her siblings

Buford, Wilma and Jim.

Jan was a strong and independent woman who always spoke her mind with candor and conviction. She had a positive outlook on life and a belief that anything is possible.

She was a successful business woman and entrepreneur who owned and operated her own real estate agency.

She went back to college late in life and obtained dual Bachelor’s Degrees in History and Education from the University of Nevada, Reno at age 58.

She was active in politics, having worked on the presidential campaign for Ross Perot and in the offices of Lieutenant Governor Lonnie Hammargren, and Lieutenant Governor Lorraine Hunt.

Jan loved to travel, read mystery novels, work in her garden, and spend time with her beloved family. She was loved by many and will be missed by all.
