Lanette Marie Bowen

Lanette was born July 10, 1947, in California, and has passed away on April 23, 2019, and moved onto a new adventure. She is at peace and with her friends and family and critters.

She is survived by her beloved husband Bruce Bowen, her two sons, Kyle and Jason, a gaggle of wonderful grandchildren, and pal Remy. and family members.

Lanette was an educator who believed that children are our future. She dedicated her 40 + years of teaching to those who wanted to learn. She had a passion to travel wherever cars, vans ,buses, planes, trains, and ships would take her. Her thirst for knowledge was her drive. She loved to be creative which showed in her gardens, paintings, crafty projects and photography. She loved her doggies, but also made sure the birds and deer and horses were taken care of in her never ending backyard. She has done so much for others...our world will miss her.

There will not be a service. Her ashes will be spread into the Hawaiian winds at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, please donate your time to a dog shelter or go to a school and read a book to a child. Give of yourself to someone else and think of Lanette with a smile. Know that she will be smiling back at you.
