Larry and I attended the same middle school. Later when we moved up to attend Aviation High School in Redondo Beach, California, we became friends. It was also at that time where we met up with Ron Felthoven, who was to become my then future, now late husband. Larry and Ron played and excelled at football and baseball together and were good friends. Larry was also a champion on our school wrestling team. After graduating high school in 1963, we went on our different paths and lost touch. Larry on his and Ron and I on ours. Then in 2009, thanks to Facebook, we reconnected with Larry and have been in contact ever since. Coincidentally, on this very day, February 24, in 2017, and after 48 years of marriage, Ron suddenly passed away. Larry has been a real source of comfort and friendship to me since that time. We were planning to meet up again after this crazy world has become safer again as we had not seen one another since graduation. Alas, that was not meant to be. Larry, you always have had and always will have, a very special place in my heart and I will miss you so very much. Rest in peace my dear friend.

Love, Jo

I was so saddened to hear of Larry's passing. Way too soon. I met him on a cruise a couple years ago and had kept in touch ever since. We mostly talked about our love of travelling, and he was always planning his next trip. I'm so sorry he was not able to indulge in that love of travelling during his last year on this earth - he loved it so much. It was my absolutely pleasure to have met him and chat with him over these last couple years. I'm so sorry we won't be able to meet up again.

Dearest Larry, I was saddened to hear of your passing. I always enjoyed walking with you, getting to know you and your kind heart, and stories of your amazing travels. I’m so glad to have met you and I’m happy that you had a chance to travel and explore while here on earth. I’ll never forget your kind and gentle soul. May you be at peace and watching over us as we gather in your name.
