She was born in Walnut Creek, California April 7, 1979, to Michael and Peggy Vax who now reside in Dewey/Prescott Valley, Arizona. She grew up in the Bay Area of California where she still has many long-lasting friends.
Leslie is survived by her parents, Uncle and Aunt, Frank and Chris Salmen, Uncle, Joe Vax, Grandparents, Charles and Martha Salmen, and cousins Marilyn Rothman, Jennifer Rothman, Silas Rothman, Tammy Brown Neuhaus, Becky Brown Edward, Eve Snow Austin, Natalie Snow and Steve and Karen Hopkins.
Leslie graduated from Mt. Diablo High School and went immediately into banking. She became branch manager for EECU Credit Union in Merced and recently moved to Dayton Nevada where she accepted the managerial position for Greater Nevada Credit Union in Fernley Nevada.
Leslie had a love for animals and was always bringing strays into her home.
Anytime Leslie met someone new, they immediately fell in love with her outgoing personality and charm. Leslie will be laid to rest with her loving grandparents Sydney and Virginia Vax at the Home of Eternity, 5000 Piedmont Ave Oakland, California. Services will be held July 31, 2025, at 11:00 am. Family and friends are welcome.
