Raymond is survived by his daughter Michele, granddaughter Taylor, Nephew Raymond (his namesake), grandniece Meshanna, great-grandniece RayAnn, and he also left behind "Petey" his dog and best friend (which he adopted from a shelter) - they took care of each other. Petey now lives with Nephew Raymond.
Raymond was a business owner in Indianapolis, Indiana for much of his adult life. After retiring from that, Raymond eventually settled in Nevada, after living for a time to Idaho.
Raymond was an avid and very good golfer. He was on a four-man golf team which he played every Wednesday and neither rain nor shine could keep him from playing. When he was younger and living in Indiana, he raced semi-professionally in several classes, including the Indy Car Formula Atlantic class in which he was very successful, finishing in the top consistently, as well as winning season championships. For many years he was the man to beat at the track.
He is lovingly remembered by family as being very good at playing the game of Cribbage, playing whenever he got the chance, especially when family would visit.
Raymond is going to be missed by all of us, family and friends alike.
