You always had a way of making everyone around you laugh. I never didn’t have a good time around you. You have a vibe that is really rare. The time that we have been talking I will cherish forever. I only regret I wasn’t able to help you as much you helped me. Your advice is gold, and I’ll keep that forever. The love you had and expressed for your mom, dad and brother was always something I loved about you. I just pray that your at peace now. I love you

Stephen was a like a big brother to me. He helped me out a lot when I was struggling and used to always be there for me when we were growing up as kids. I never thought about the fact that one day he could be gone and it hurts so bad to know that he really is never coming back. I don’t know what imma do without him he was my family. I miss him so much and I know he’s in a better place now but I just wish he was still here. I just want him to know how much he meant to me. I love u bro, Fly High 😭❤️💕

My heart breaks for this. Stephen and I met in the beginning of our sober journeys. He was so determined to keep trying and always do the next right thing. He had a smile that could light the entire sky and a sense of humor that could make anyone laugh. I remember walking all over Carson City with this guy one day trying to find a good meeting to go to. We had so many amazing conversations and were always able to share a laugh no matter what stories we shared. I got the chance to see you grow, and stand right back up whenever you fell down. You were such an inspiration. I’ll miss your lovely spirit and the warm presence it brought. You were so young and taken far too soon. I’m sure I speak for a lot of us when I say that you will be terribly missed. Rest east my friend. I love you ❤️

China springs, terrible place to say I've met a few of the best people in my life. Stephen was definitely one of them. From laughing till I cry while trying to be silent at the same time to hearing all your goofy sayings. Youd talk about your family for hours, on your graduation you broke down to tears; nobody can break a bond like you have with your family. With a short lived life I'm still more than grateful to say that I got to know you even on a personal level. You've always been a good friend and made sure to stay close. Gonna miss you man

I am so sorry for your loss. I taught Stephen in 6th grade. I am always sad to hear of the passing of a former student at such a young age. My thoughts are with the family during your time of grief.
