Susan Ann Payette

Susan Ann Payette, born December 7, 1946 passed away unexpectedly at Carson Tahoe Hospital on October 4, 2025, after a very long battle against several crippling diseases including cancer, neuropathy, arthritis, and diabetes.

She was the only daughter of Robert and Agnes Amon of Livingston, Montana where she was born and raised. She was a graduate of Livingston High School and attended Montana State University. She is predeceased by her parents, two brothers (Robert and Stanley), son Ian Payette and stepson Christopher Payette.

Susan is survived by her husband of 48 years Vern Payette of Carson City, son Jordan Payette (Candice) of Reno, Step Daughter Marla Martin (Ken) and daughters Makenna and Stella of Billings, MT, and granddaughter Kayla Payette (Grady) of Reno.

She worked her entire career in Administration and Administrative Management in several areas including Banking, Academia, Real Estate, Corporate, Military, and Government receiving many awards and accolades for outstanding job performance. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends and never forgotten.
