Wendi Ellen Pascone was born on April 21st, 1961 to Ray Weinberg and Coralie Kelly in Los Angeles, California. Shortly after she entered into the world, her family relocated to El Segundo, California, where she was raised with her two siblings Lisa and Eric. Growing up, she loved the outdoors, most would say she was an adventurous child. She loved to play sports, her favorites being soccer and softball. She also loved animals and was a proud member of the 4-H club. She rode horses, and raised sheep and pigs. With her love of 4-H and her dedication to her animals she even became a 4-H Prize winner. She went on to attend Thousand Oaks High school. Her favorite classes being English and Home Economics. She was a proud graduate of the Thousand Oaks High School class of 1979.
Wendi enjoyed many things in her later years. She loved to travel and spend time in the outdoors, especially fishing and camping in the mountains. She also loved to spend time with her best friend, Jody. You could always find them exploring different parts of the world together. From cruising the Caribbean, to exploring the Hawaiian Islands, she definitely believed “Adventure is out there!” Her favorite place to visit with her family was Disneyland and Walt Disney World. She was a Disney Fanatic. This was a love she shared with her daughter, son-in-law, and grandsons, whom she adored. Together they took many family trips and share many incredible memories. In her free time she loved to watch movies (especially Disney Movies), bake, sew, craft, photography, and adored spending time with her grandsons. You could also find her spending time with Meg, her beautiful Australian Shepard.
Wendi entered into rest on June 20th, 2022, in Carson City, Nevada. She is re-joined with her father Ray Weinberg, her brother Eric Weinberg, and grandson Kole Hansen. She leaves behind her mother Coralie Weinberg; Her daughter Raelynn Hansen; Son-in-law Kevin Hansen; Grandsons Dylan and Lincoln Hansen; Sister Lisa Lambert and Brother-in-law Michael Lambert. She will be deeply missed by many.
Wendi will be laid to rest in Eastside Memorial park, 1600 Buckeye Rd, Minden, Nevada 89423-4126.
