Ashley and I met Gail and Allen thru the Newcomers Club. We continued that friendship through The Episcopal Church of the Ascension. Kelly and our daughter Cassandra enjoyed play dates and carpooling to shared babysitters. We attended dances through our volunteering experiences. Observing Allen guiding lovely Gail across the dance floors was itself the picture of perfect dancing!Allen was kind, always smiling and the ultimate gentleman and friend. He will always be remembered by us with these reflections.

Allen was a wonderful man, loved his wife Gail to distraction and had a great sense of humor. Did not see them much after Gail retired but when I would see them out and about in town it was always like we had never been out of touch. My prayers are with the family during this difficult time.

Allen was a wonderful neighbor who loved our animals as much as we do! Our two labs, Annie & Gracie, probably never understood why they lived here, when they had Allen (& Miss Lauren) always bringing them steak bones and toys to fetch! My favorite memory of Allen was he called me "bud"...I'll never forget how special that was to me.
