Ann Teresa Giddings

Ann was born in Hackensack, NJ, resided most of her life in South Jersey with the last 5 years being a resident of Cartersville GA. She leaves her husband, Dr. Gerould Giddings, to whom she was married for 55 years. She bore two children, Joshua and Amanda Dana nee Giddings and was “Nana” to her Grandson Treffen.

Ann labored together with her husband in the Ministry of the Gospel and was ordained in 1991. She served as a preacher, and discipler of women, as well as counselor to many and was affectionately called “The Ambassador”

Her Vision was this: “I am called by God to give a cup of cold water to women who are in the desert and to rescue women, as if in a fire, in the Name of Jesus.” She loved to share the truth and freedom found only in Jesus Christ. She believed the Bible was the inspired Word of God, not in word only, but in power and that the Holy Spirit is a revealer and anointer to help all of us to put off the old and put on the new according to the commands of Jesus.

She leaves behind many who testify of her faithfulness to the Word and her gift of having a timely word of wisdom with the encouragement to go with it.

A Celebration of Life Service will be conducted at 1:00 pm on Friday, July 3, 2026, in the chapel of Owen Funeral Home. The interment will follow at Providence Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:30 until the start of the life celebration service.
