Arthur Jerrell Myrick

Mr. Myrick was born April 8, 1946 in Cartersville, Georgia son of the late Arthur Clarence Myrick and Mattie Westbrooks Myrick. He was retired from Lockheed with 27 years service; was a veteran of the Vietnam War having served in the U.S. Army and was a member of the Cartersville Church of Christ.

Mr. Myrick was a good husband, a good daddy and a good granddaddy. He was an avid tournament fisherman and loved his motorcycle. He was a member of the Kingston Masonic Lodge and was a Shriner.

Survivors include his wife, Elodia Myrick, to whom he was married to November, 11, 1967; his children, Jerrell & Teresa Myrick, Eric & Misty Myrick and Connie & Gary Smith; grandchildren, Hunter Myrick, Austin Myrick, Erica Myrick, Colin Myrick, Ashton DeBoard and Kylee Smith; brother, Billy Myrick; cousins, Doug Allen, Bill Allen, Donna Rutledge; special friend, Jimmy Cornwell; a host of other family & friends also survive.

Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday afternoon August 28th at 2:00 P.M. at the Cartersville Church of Christ with Preacher Bobby Gayton officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Memory Gardens with full military rites.

The family will receive friends Monday evening from 6:00 until 9:00 P.M. at Owen Funeral Home.

Pallbearers include Billy Myrick, Bill Allen, Doug Allen, Ashton DeBoard, Austin Myrick, Hunter Myrick and Colin Myrick.
