Barbara reunited with her loved ones that preceded her in death, Parents, John and Betty Flowers; husband, Ricky Cowart; son Blake Cowart; grandchildren, Cam Cowart and Journey Cowart. She is survived by her children, MaryJohn (Tony) Chapman, Todd Cowart; grandchildren, Mandi Cowart, Karlie Cowart, Anna Chapman, Charlie Cowart; five great grandchildren; sister, Johnette (Glen) Stewart; dearly loved sister-in-law, Pam (Jimmy) Hyde.
A Celebration of Life Service will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 9, 2025, in the chapel of Owen Funeral Home, with Jackson Hyde officiating. The interment will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Saturday, November 8, 2025, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
