Barbara was born on 06/03/1937 in Cartersville . She is survived by her 3 children, Franklin Rester jr, Anna Rester Alexander, and Randall Rester. 2 grandchildren, Laura Haley Alexander and Laci Shae Rester. Nieces Deborah Lyles fisher and Greta Lyles Collins. Nephews Johnny Smithey, Ellis knight and chase Springfield. And a great great nephew Joseph Smithey.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Franklin Rester sr, her parents Luther Knight and Mable Guyton Knight. Her siblings, Shirley knight Lyles, Betty Knight Smithey, Marvin knight, Ruth Knight Springfield, and Geneva Knight, and her great nephew Eric Smithey.
A funeral will be held on 12/29/2025 at 11:00am at the Church of God of the union assembly in Cartersville ga.
