

Bobbie Jean Ingram Mansfield passed away on July 26, 2023, after a year‘s journey with cancer. She is survived by her three children; Gwyn Ellington, her husband, Rory, Wendy Hodorff, her husband, Jon, and Kevin Mansfield, his wife, Rhonda. There are also six grandchildren and three great grandchildren, who are deeply saddened by the loss of their beautiful, warm, and loving grandmother and Gigi.
Bobbie was married to the late Reverend Jack, Hamby Mansfield . She spent her life educating and serving others. After a teaching career, Bobbie became the hostess of her church; Cartersville First Baptist, where she spent twenty years preparing food for Wednesday night dinners, Bible school, and numerous other events , Bobby Jean Ingram Mansfield’s life was a celebration of knowing that there is an eternal life after our journey on earth. She walked in beauty through her life, and always encouraged others to do the same. Bobbie believed in her children, their spouses, and all her grandchildren. She was a strong and fierce woman who was never afraid to do the things that must be done. She was joy, she was laughter, she was a woman who knew that the God she served would calm any storm that she ever faced.
Funeral services for Bobbie Mansfield will be held at Cartersville Baptist Church on August 1, 2023. The time of the service will be 11:00 AM with Rev. Kyle Walker officiating.
