Brenda Harvey Weaver

Ms. Brenda Harvey Weaver, 67, of Marietta Ga, passed away Tuesday, September 19, 2017. Brenda was born to the late Mr. James "Reuben" Harvey Sr. and Mrs. Ethel "Idell" Stephens Harvey on December 20, 1950 in Atlanta Ga.

Brenda loved her family and friends. She was always dedicated and available anytime she was needed. She often teased that her second family was at C.W. Mathews where she enjoyed working for over 30 years, finally retiring in 2014.

Brenda is preceded in death by her parents, Mr. James R. Harvey Sr. and Mrs. Ethel Idell Stephens Harvey, sister, Patricia Ann Harvey Parnes, brother, Robert L. Harvey, niece Ashley "La'Shae" Heard and nephew, James "Jim" L. Mills.

She is survived by her siblings, Virginia D. Heard, Connie L. Harvey, James "Jim" R. Harvey Jr., Larry E. Harvey. She is also survived by nieces, Tonya D. Mills, Christina "Nikki" H. Neille, Alexis B. Harvey, Alexandra G. Harvey, Jennifer Reeves, Jina Garrett and a significant great - great nephew, Mason E. Mills, all of whom she loved like her own children. Brenda has many more great nieces and nephews that she dearly cherished. Brenda also leaves behind her little old man, Simba, her beloved cat.

Funeral Services for Ms. Weaver will be conducted at six o’clock in the evening, Friday, September22 in the Owen Funeral Home Chapel.

The family invites friends to a visitation to be held from four o’clock in the afternoon until the service hour at Owen Funeral Home.
