Brilee Joy Weldon, 16 months, of Taylorsville, GA passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family. Brilee was born in Cartersville, GA along side her twin sister, Avery Hope Weldon on July 9, 2018 to Mr. Lamar Weldon and Ms. Heather Phillips.
Brilee was a fighter and fought through many complex medical issues. Through all of her struggles, Brilee was a loving, happy little girl who loved playing with her twin and other sisters. She brought so much JOY to her family during her short time here. Brilee was an angel that will be missed dearly by all who knew and loved her.
She is preceded in death by her maternal great grandmother, Patricia Hanlon.
She is survived by her parents, sisters; Avery, Aubrey, Baylee and Abby Weldon, grandparents; Nancy Kennedy and Scott Vaughn, Johnny Weldon, Mark and Karen Linn, Gary and Misty Phillips, great grandparents; Jeanette and Junior Craig and Liliane Weldon, Michael Hanlon and Bertha Bruce. Many aunts, uncles, cousins, and close family friends also survive to cherish Brilee's memory.
A Celebration of Life Service will be conducted in the chapel of Owen Funeral Home on Saturday, November 9, 2019 at eleven o'clock in the morning with the Rev. Tommy Sewell officiating. Serving as pallbearers will be: Ross Kennedy, Shane Hamby, Matt Sewell and Jesse Weldon. Interment will follow the service at Bethel Crossroads Cemetery, Taylorsville.
The family will receive friends Friday evening, November 8, 2019 from five o'clock in the evening until eight at Owen Funeral Home.
