

Carl Edward Biddy, born on January 8, 1940, in Cartersville, Georgia, passed away on August 7, 2024, in the same city. He was a respected figure in the community, known for his creativity, resourcefulness, and knack for building things.
Carl enjoyed a fulfilling career, initially working for many years at Georgia Highway Express before founding Lease-Wide Trucking. He also established a commercial poultry farm, renowned for the quality of its flock and recipient of numerous awards over the years.
Outside of his professional life, Carl was deeply passionate about working on his farm and continually making improvements to the property. Those who knew him will remember Carl as someone who was always engaged in a project, using his hands and mind to create and enhance.
Carl was preceded in death by his loving wife, Sandra Jean Cox Biddy, and his parents, Homer Leslie Biddy and Nellie Chumler Biddy. He is survived by his children, Michael Edward Biddy (Scott Davis), Michele Louise Norton (Phil), Carl David Biddy (Margaret), and Danielle Frances Whitten (Johnny); his grandchildren, Isabella Genevieve Biddy, Bailey Whitten, and Amber Whitten (Hal); his sister, Faye Biddy Cole; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be conducted at eleven o'clock in the morning on Saturday, August 10, 2024 at Oak Hill Cemetery, Cartersville, GA.
Owen Funeral Home in Cartersville, Georgia, is assisting the family during this time. Carl’s life and legacy will be celebrated by his family and friends, who continue to cherish the many memories they made together.
