Carol C. Thurman

She was born on November 12 ,1946, to the late Roy Walton and Myrtle Irene Zitneir Chenault. She is also preceded in death by her husband, Billy Ernest Thurman; daughter, Sherie Lynn Thurman; granddaughter, Ashley Teal; brother-in-law, Edward Thurman and sister-in-law, Betty Jean Thurman.

Carol is survived by her son, Donald Lee Thurman; sisters-in-law, JoAnn McAbee, Jewell Wilbanks, and Wanda Dunbar (Dale); brother-in-law, Robert Lee Thurman and several nieces and nephews.

Carol work for Shaw Flooring company and retired after 20 years. She enjoyed shopping, thrifting, yard sales, flea markets, experimenting with different recipes when cooking, trip to the mountains and camping. In her spare time and retirement years Carol loved to read and watch TV. She was a great mother and loved watching her children grow up.

A graveside services for Carol will be held Monday, February 10, 2025, at 12:30 PM at Oak Hill Cemetery, 3125, Cartersville, GA 30120.
