

Carolyn was born July 24, 1939 in Hickory Flat, MS daughter of the late Walter Cochran and Faye Ellzey Cochran. Carolyn was the loving wife of the late Judge Earl Hale to whom she was married for 47 years. She was retired from First Brands in Cartersville and spent every minute caring for her family. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Judge Earl Hale; an infant son, Jimmy Earl Hale, Jr.; sons, Terry Lamar Hale and David Brian Hale; brothers, William Walter Cochran, Jr. (Bill) and Doug Cochran; her step-mother, Mildred Cochran.
Carolyn is survived by a son & daughter-in-law, Phillip Earl Hale and Barbara Hale of South Bend, Indiana; grandchildren, Stephanie and her husband Justin Moss, Brian and his wife Hailey Hale, Bradley Hale; great-grandchildren, Everly Moss, Jason Hale, Aiden Hale all of Cartersville; brother, Dennis Cochran and his wife Judy of Calhoun; sisters, JoAnn Nix and her husband Ronnie, Terri Frasier and her husband Ken all of Cartersville; sisters-in-law, Kathy Cochran of Slidell, LA, Janice Cochran of Cartersville, Ruth Hale of Cartersville; nieces and nephews also survive.
Visitation will be Thursday, March 26th from 12:00 until 1:00 P.M. at Owen Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 PM in the Owen Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in the Sunset Memory Gardens.
Pallbearers will include Justin Moss, Brian Hale, Dennis Cochran, Jr., Kevin Nix and Brad Frasier.
