Charles F Benson

Mr. Benson was born May 3, 1939 in Bartow County, a son of the late Charles W. Benson and Willie Lou Morris Benson.

He was a member of the Floyd Creek Baptist Church and retired from Shaw Industries. Charles was a quiet, generous man with a wry sense of humor. He loved sports.

Survivors include his brother and sister in law, Allen and Faye Benson, of Cartersville, nieces and their husbands, Rhonda and Bo Emerson, Robbin and Dennis Hurley, Deborah Charlene Agan and Angela and Timmy Spires and a nephew and his wife, Adrian and Mary Wehunt.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Mozelle Summey.

Graveside services will be held 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, November 19, 2014 from the Floyd Creek Baptist Cemetery with Rev. Keith Willard officiating.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 4:00 till 6:00 P.M. Tuesday.
