ADD A MEMORY
Mike Dashper

October 2, 2019

Chis and I became friends while in Jr. High. We were classmates, bandmates, and friends outside of school as well. I spent countless days and nights at his house. I remember us lying in his racecar bed and talking until we both fell asleep. In the sixth grade, Chris and I went on our first double date with our girlfriends. My Dad drove us all to a roller rink in Paris. I remember thinking to myself, “well...we’re here...now what?” (awkward then...hilarious now)

A few years ago, Chris sent me a friend request which really made my day. As I scrolled through his pictures, I saw that kind little boy all over again.

I do believe that Chris hasn’t just been relieved of his pain, but that he has no memory at all of that pain. I also believe, the memories he does have of his time here on earth are only of the good times spent with his family and friends.

I doubt he ever realized the number of people he touched with his kindness. I know I’m one of the lucky ones who experienced it first-hand.. Chris was, and still is, one of the all time greats!
