Daniel Eugene Jenkins

Daniel (Danny) Eugene Jenkins, age 57 of Daytona Beach, FL formally of Cartersville, GA passed away on Tuesday, June 22, 2021. He was born in Cartersville, GA on March 23, 1964 to Samuel (Gene) Eugene Jenkins and the late Dorothy Bearden Jenkins.

Danny was a good man, a good husband, a good father, a good baseball player, and a good basketball player. He loved BIG, and loved many. In the past 29 years he loved me more than he should. He loved his children, and didn’t differentiate between birth, adopted, grandchildren or foster children. He loved them all the same and they loved him dearly because of it. His legacy will live on through his family. As long as there is love and memory, there is no true loss. We all will hold him dear to our hearts forever. How lucky are we to have something that makes saying goodbye so difficult.

Danny is preceded in death by his niece, Ella Chambley. He is survived by his wife, Belinda Bishop Jenkins; sons, Dallas Jenkins, Trey Vice, Christian Tyler Jenkins, Jaxon Jenkins, Josh Jenkins; daughter, Victoria (Jim) Stovall; grandchildren, Jake Vice, Drew Vice, Ben Vice, Merritt Vice, Dalton Jenkins, Corbin Stovall, Carson Stovall, Chloe Jenkins; father, Samuel (Gene) Eugene Jenkins; sister, Rita (Jeff) Dixon; brothers, Mitch (Yvonne) Jenkins, Randy (Holly) Jenkins, a host of nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life Service will be conducted at 11:00 am on Saturday, July 3, 2021 in the chapel of Owen Funeral Home with Victoria Stovall, Dallas Jenkins and Rev. Ken Coomer officiating. The family will receive friends on Friday, July 2, 2021 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm.
