Doris H. McClure

Mrs. McClure was born in Cobb County, the daughter of the late, Len G. and Lucy Abigail (Miller) Hefner, was a member of the Cartersville Order of Eastern Star and was a member of Peeples Valley Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Earl McClure.

Surviving is her daughter and son in law, Pam and Kyle Hefner of Cartersville, granddaughters, Emily Nickelson (Kip Wood)of Cartersville, Sara Hefner of Knoxville, Tennessee, a sister, Betty J. Hefner of Cartersville, and nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Friday, December 2, 2011 at 11:00 A.M. in the chapel of Owen Funeral Home with Rev. Darrell Bailey and Rev. Richard Webster officiating.

Burial will follow in Sunset Memory Gardens.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday evening from 5:00-8:00 p.m.

Pallbearers will be John Morgan, Phillip New, Arch Wann, Tommy Bentley, Davey Conn and Manuel Rocha.
