Dorothy Nell Brock

Mrs. Brock was born April 12, 1928 in Bartow County the daughter of the late, Arley and Annie Lee Brown Cole, was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Johnny W. Brock and children, Eugene Brock and Barbara Ann Ledford.

Surviving are her children, Alvin and Hazel Brock of Acworth, Bobby and Ella Mae Brock of White, Harold (Duck) and Joanna Brock of Euharlee, ten grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren, sisters Irene Money of Stilesboro, Sue Ruff of Dallas, brothers, James, Charles and Wilton Cole of Cartersville, Olin Cole of Kentucky and a number of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, April 21, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Owen Funeral Home with Pastor Dwight Holcomb and Pastor Michael Mathews officiating.

Burial will follow in Sunset Memory Gardens.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday evening from 4:00-8:00 p.m.

Pallbearers will be Hank Rollins, Kenneth Barrett, Cody Tidwell, Greg Guyton, Scottie Ruff and Timmy Guyton,

Honorary pallbearers will be Mike Ledford, Danny Cole, Charles Mitchell and Edward Cole.

Owen Funeral Home, 12 Collins Drive, Cartersville, Georgia is in charge of the arrangements.
