Dorothy Wilson Rymer

Mrs. Rymer was born April 27, 1929, in Calhoun, Georgia the daughter of the late, Virgil and Bessie (Quinn) McCollum. She was retired from EZ Mills and was a member of Oakland Heights Baptist Church and was a member of the Oakland Heights WMU.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her first husband, Rev. Glenn Wilson, her second husband, Rev. Arthur D. Rymer, a sister, Bonnie L. Tumlin and two brothers, Ray McCollum and Ira McCollum.

Surviving is her son and daughter in law, Lamar and Joyce Wilson of Cartersville, two grandchildren, Tina Mitchell and her husband, Joey of Florence, Alabama, Andy Wilson and his wife JJ, of Cartersville, step-children, Larry and Beth Rymer of North Carolina, Bobbie and Bobby Joe Rymer of Cartersville, Ann and Royce Porter of Hendersonville, Tennessee great-grandchildren, Andrew Mitchell, Carlee Drew Wilson, Claire Wilson, sisters and brothers in law, Jo and Ken Wall of Cartersville, Joyce and Sammy Neal of Cartersville, brothers and sisters in law, Marvin and Amy McCollum of Calhoun, Byrd and Marzell of Cartersville, Truman McCollum of Emerson, Larry and Jeannette McCollum of Cartersville, Bobby McCollum of Emerson and a number of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 2, 2013 at 11:00 A.M. at Oakland Heights Baptist Church with Rev. Joe McKaig and Rev. Billy Wilson officiating.

Burial will follow in Sunset Memory Gardens.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday evening from 6:00-8:00 p.m.

Pallbearers will be Andy Wilson, Joey Mitchell, Andrew Mitchell, Byrd McCollum, Larry McCollum, Bobby McCollum and Truman McCollum.

Honorary pallbearers will be members of the Ladies Sunday School Class of Oakland Heights Baptist Church.
