

Doyle was born at home in Pine Log, Georgia, in 1938 to the late John Wesley and Ollie Eugene Ray Temples. He graduated from Pine Log High School and later met and married the love of his life, June Temples. Doyle worked for 30 years as a lineman with Georgia Power, a career he was proud of and dedicated himself to throughout the years.
Doyle had a love for the outdoors and especially enjoyed hunting, fishing, and boating. He was a longtime and faithful member of Oak Hill Baptist Church, where he served as a deacon.
Doyle was preceded in death by his first wife, June Temples; his second wife, Belinda Temples (Pritchett), who passed away earlier in 2026; and his brothers, Hubert Temples and Alton Temples.
He is survived by his son, Marc Temples (Lisa); grandsons, Stanton Temples (Brie), Bailey Temples, and Nathan Temples (Ashley); great-granddaughter, Fallon Temples; sister, Lillie Puckett; and several nieces and nephews.
Doyle will be remembered as a devoted family man, a hardworking provider, and a man who found joy in the outdoors, his church, and the people he loved. His memory will live on in the hearts of his family and friends.
Visitation with the family will be held Saturday, September 5, 2026, beginning at 1:00 p.m., followed by a Celebration of Doyle’s Life at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Owen Funeral Home, 12 Collins Drive, Cartersville, GA 30120.
Stanton Temples, Bailey Temples, Nathan Temples, Jeremy Temples, Eric Puckett, and Joseph Temples will serve as pallbearers.
