Edward Martin Clausen

Edward Martin Clausen, 86, of Cartersville, GA passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 19, 2019 surrounded by his loving family. Ed was born in Chicago, IL to the late Mr. Edward H. Clausen and Mrs. Helen Pasterski Clausen on March 30, 1933.

Ed was the beloved husband of Pauline Clausen for 34 years, loving father, grandfather, and great grandfather. Ed served in the United States Army. He enjoyed golfing, traveling, and spending time with his family. He will be truly missed by all who knew and loved him.

He is preceded in death by his parents and sister.

He is survived by his loving wife, Pauline, son, Edward (Lisa) Clausen, Jr., daughter, Sharon (Mike) McIntire, stepchildren; Vickie (Maurice) Siler, Randy (Rhonda) Vaughan, Sherry (Billy) Majors, Regina (Dewey) Martin, and Timmy (Cherilyn) Vaughan. Many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews also survive to cherish Ed's memory.

A Celebration of Life Service will be conducted in the chapel of Owen Funeral Home on Saturday, November 23, 2019 at two o'clock in the afternoon with the Reverend Doctor Jacob King officiating. Interment will be at Georgia National Cemetery, Canton, GA on Tuesday, November 26, 2019 at ten o'clock in the morning with military honors rendered.

The family will receive friends at Owen Funeral Home on Saturday, November 23, 2019 from ten o'clock in the morning until the service hour.
