Emily L Lawler

Mrs. Lawler was born May 30, 1938, in Bartow County, the daughter of the late Thomas E. and Grace (Shelton) Smith and was a member of Crestview Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents and three sisters, Doris Morris, Beatrice Ward and Mary Smith.

Surviving is her husband, Richard H. Lawler of White, children, Preston and Erlene Vaser of Cedartown, Cindy Vasser of Cumming, Vance and Jan Vasser of Lawrenceville, Barry Vasser of Cumming, fifteen grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, a sister, Carolyn W. Cargle of White, two brothers, Thomas E. Smith, Jr. of Douglasville, Charles W. Smith of Acworth and a number of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, November 11, 2012, at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel of Owen Funeral Home with Pastor Jim Akins officiating.

Entombment will follow in Sunset Memory Gardens.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday evening from 5:00-7:00 p.m.

Pallbearers will be Eric Page, Richard Vasser, Chase Vasser, Lane Vasser, Tommy Vaser and Michael Smith.

Owen Funeral Home, 12 Collins Drive, Cartersville, Georgia is in charge of the arrangements.
