Faye Ray

Mrs. Ray was born in Rome, Georgia December 23, 1948, the daughter of the late Ralph and Frances (Pinkard) Morris.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother, Jeffery L. Morris and brother in law, Jerry O. Hackney.

She is survived by her husband, Gary L. Ray , daughters and sons-in-law, Tammy and James Layton, Lorie and Terry Cumbee, grandchildren, Lea Layton, Lauren Vinall, and Jordan Vinall, great- grandchildren, Dawson and Blakeston Warner, brother, Danny Morris and his wife, Pam, aunts, Jewel Wills and Shirley Morris, sister-in-law, Janice Hackney, sisters- in-law and husbands, Gwen and Ronnie Reeves of Calhoun and Cindy and Kirt Moss.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, September 15, 2012 at 11:00 A.M. in the chapel of Owen Funeral Home with special friend and his wife, Catrina, Rev. Scott Shepard officiating.

Graveside service will follow at Sunset Memory Gardens.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday evening from 5:00-8:00 p.m.

Pallbearers will be Daniel Morris, Jesse Morris, Zach Morris, Terry Norton, David Hicks and Jimmy Morris.
