Flossie E. Guyton

Mrs. Guyton was born July 2, 1920 in Bartow County, Georgia, daughter of the late James T. Edwards and Florence Cowart Edwards. She was retired from Union-Carbide and was a longtime member of Atco Baptist Church and Heritage Baptist Church. She loved to cook and loved her family. She is preceded in death by her husband, Marvin Griffin Guyton, Sr.; four sisters and five brothers.

Survivors include her children, Reba Tenpenny and husband Ian, Marvin Guyton, Jr. and wife Debbie, Keith Guyton and wife Susie; grandchildren, Craig Guyton (Donna), Janet Vucetic (Henry), Emily York (Matthew), Andrew Guyton (Molly), Matthew Tenpenny, Joseph Tenpenny; great-grandchildren, Baily Guyton, Griffin Guyton, Hank Vucetic, Guyton Vucetic, Brayden York, Lexy York; sisters-in-law, Mabel Edwards, Sue Wadkins, Loretta Aldredge and husband Ralph; brother-in-law, Pat Guyton and wife Christine; a number of nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be conducted Monday afternoon November 30th at 2:00 PM in the Owen Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Micheal Tutterow and Rev. Jeff Wright officiating. Interment will follow in the Oak Hill Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Monday from 12:00 until 2:00 PM at Owen Funeral Home.

Pallbearers include Joseph Tenpenny, Matthew Tenpenny, Craig Guyton, Griffin Guyton, Matthew York, Scott Panter.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Heritage Baptist Church.
