Forrest Eugene Abernathy

Forrest was born on August 28, 1974 in Cartersville, GA, son of Stevie D. Abernathy and Cathy Abernathy.

Forrest lived to ride his Harley-Davidson. He was of the Baptist Faith and was a member of Clear Creek Baptist Church. The true joy of his life was spending quality time with his son, Harley Abernathy.

He is preceded in death by his father, Stevie D. Abernathy; grandparents, Dewitt Abernathy and Ruby Abernathy, Rev. Francis Summey and Louise Summey; four uncles, Troy Abernathy, Marion Summey, Ricky Summey and Rev. Donnie Summey; three cousins, Malissa Earwood, Dee Chance and Lamar Abernathy.

Survivors include his momma, Cathy Abernathy; son, Harley Abernathy; daughter, Ali Carroll; sister, Stephanie (Derek) Lanham; favorite niece, Kaylie Lanham; nephew, DJ (Harleigh) Lanham; Forrest is also survived by Amy Meyers, Darrell (Rea) Abernathy, Matthew (Karley) Abernathy; several aunts, cousins and friends also survive.

Graveside services will be conducted at two o'clock in the afternoon on Saturday, the 5th of March, 2022 at Old Macedonia Cemetery with Rev. Jimmy Summey officiating.
